The problem
App Store installs don’t carry referral links
A partner sends a merchant to your listing, and the merchant installs. The marketplace never passes the referral link or cookie to your app, so link-based affiliate tools can’t tell who sent them.
Attribution

How does Appsify track installs from the App Store?
Marketplace installs don’t carry a referral link or cookie, so each partner also gets a referral code. The merchant types it into your app, and Appsify credits the partner. What if two partners refer the same merchant?

What happens when a merchant is refunded?
Refunds and chargebacks are clawed back automatically. They are recorded as new entries in an append-only ledger, so the history is never rewritten.
When do affiliates get paid?
Each commission is held for 30 days. After that it becomes available, and once an affiliate has more than $50 available they can request a PayPal payout, which you approve.
